Michele Anthony and Bruce Resnikoff could soon be adding Broadway producer to their resumes should a Frank Sinatra musical wind up on the Great White Way.

Universal Music Group is developing a new musical about the life and career of Ol' Blue Eyes in association with Tina Sinatra and Frank Sinatra Enterprises. Joe DiPietro (Diana, The Musical, Memphis) is writing the show, with Kathleen Marshall directing and choreographing.

Sinatra the Musical begins on New Year’s Eve 1942 as a then-27-year-old Frank steps onto the stage of the Paramount Theatre. The musical follows his ups, downs and comeback.

Anthony, Resnikoff and Scott Landis are producers for Universal Music Group Theatrical; Tina Sinatra and Charles Pignone are producing on behalf of Frank Sinatra Enterprises.

Coincidentally, a musical based on the film that delivered one of Sinatra’s biggest hits, 1977's New York, New York, starts previews 3/24.
