TALK GETS LOUDER
Range Music/Capitol/DOOGOOD artist TALK has had a stellar year. The soulful alt-rock song "Run Away to Mars" got a TikTok bump in March and has now climbed to #3 on Triple A radio and #5 on Alternative. In November alone, "Mars" reeled in more than 13m global streams and 100k Shazams. Its video accompaniment currently boasts 5.5m YouTube views.
The Canadian multi-instrumentalist also hooked up with new agents, Wasserman's Tom Windish and Ira Goldenring, who'll oversee his touring schedule.
TALK will stop at The Late Late Show With James Corden on 12/13, his first late-night appearance. Two days later, he'll head back to the land of all things maple syrup for UMusic Live Toronto before performing at Danforth Music Hall on 12/16.
Given the success of "Run Away to Mars," is it time for a seasonal mashup with Santa Claus Conquers the Martians?
