YoungBoy Never Broke Again’s first album for Motown, I Rest My Case, is the top new arrival at iTunes and Apple Music on the first Flipover Friday of the new year. An American Idol singer from long ago leads at singles.

I Rest My Case (NBA/Motown) opens at #3 at iTunes and #4 at Apple Music, where the track “Black” is the first to start moving up the Top 100.

Elsewhere, Iggy Pop’s return to rock, Every Loser (Gold Tooth/Atlantic), is in the #5 funhouse, followed by two album by French Montana & DJ Drama: Coke Boys 6: Money Heist Edition (Coke Boys) at #6 and Coke Boys 6 Gangsta Grillz.

Anti-Flag’s Lies They Tell Our Children (Spinefarm) waves in at #9.

Idol alum Daughtry has the top-selling new arrival at songs, opening at #1 with “Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)” (Dogtree) f/Lizzy Hale. Shania Twain’s “Giddy Up!” (Republic) follows at #2.
