RMR's "CRAZY" NEW VISION
Who or what is RMR? Given the ski mask that is this artist’s de rigueur attire, we can only guess. But we do note that this creator—who has launched a new partnership with AWAL—is a musical omnivore, capable of reimagining country (“RASCAL,” an infectious gloss on Rascal Flatts’ “Bless the Broken Road”) and hip-hop (“DEALER” f/Future & Lil Baby) with equal aplomb. These and other cuts have earned the mysterious masked music-maker north of 100m streams. Now RMR has teamed up up with Ryan Lewis on “Crazy,” which showcases a wide range of influences.
“It’s got a bright and colorful sound with a positive message, but it still has the 808s,” the artist explains. “In terms of what it’s about, well, you can never go wrong with making a song about a girl.”
The song is now accompanied by a very cool "visualizer" thingie, and if you pay close attention you might just get a glimpse under the ski mask.
