MARY J. BLIGE'S STRENGTH OF A WOMAN RETURNS

Mary J. Blige, Pepsi and Live Nation Urban have unveiled the lineup of the second annual Strength of a Woman Festival & Summit, taking place 5/11-14 in Atlanta.

Led by an all-Black female team, the four-day event combines music, comedy, female empowerment and community building.

Said Blige, "Having the opportunity to continue to uplift, inspire and build among a community of women is the reason we created this festival. I'm so grateful for all of the support from our performers and participants and of course Live Nation Urban, Pepsi and our additional partners, who are committed to celebrating and creating community for Black women.”

Robert Glasper will kick off the festivities at The Winery on 5/11, followed by a Hip-Hop 50 celebration at State Farm Arena on 5/12. The lineup also boasts a "MJB B-Sides" set from Blige and special appearances by Busta Rhymes, Method Man, Jadakiss, Jodeci, DJ Drama and Jeezy.

The Strength of a Woman Summit will take place at America's Mart on 5/13 during the day before the party moves to State Farm Arena once again for R&B Night, featuring performances by Lauryn Hill, Summer Walker, Lucky Daye, Muni Long and Coco Jones.

Following a gospel brunch and concert at The Bank on 5/13, The PURPOSE Ball, a newly created event celebrating the LGBTQ+ community, will bring things to a close with a set by Saucy Santana. Mike Epps will headline Comedy Night at The Tabernacle. Don't Call Me White Girl, Henry Welch and Navv Greene will also hit the stage. No hateration or holleration will be tolerated.

Tickets to Mary J. Blige's Strength of a Woman Festival & Summit go on sale to the general public Friday (3/10) at 10am ET here. For further details, visit the SOAW website.
