BILLY PORTER TAKING HIS WORK OF ART ON TOUR

Republic’s Billy Porter is hitting the road for the Black Mona Lisa Tour: Volume 1.

Porter will land in 25 U.S. cities beginning with Seattle, playing the Paramount Theatre on 4/29. He’ll make stops in several other major markets, too, including New York and L.A. and his hometown of Pittsburgh. The tour concludes at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Conn., on 6/3.

Each 90-minute show will feature a full band, a video installation and the Grammy/Emmy/Tony-winning artist's life story told through song. The set list will include “Love Is on the Way” and “Love Yourself,” a dash of Broadway, a nod to Pose and material from Porter's forthcoming album, Black Mona Lisa.

“This album is really the first time I've been able to fully express myself and who I am through my music, through my mainstream pop-music space,” Porter said. “It’s like my magnum opus. It's everything to me. You'll get a glimpse even deeper into who I am with this music.”
