A SWIFT RETURN

With her Eras Tour now underway, Taylor Swift has dropped four previously unreleased tracks. Three of them—“Eyes Open,” “Safe & Sound” f/The Civil Wars and “If This Was a Movie”—are “Taylor’s Versions” of older songs; the fourth, “All of the Girls You Loved Before” is making its debut. The quartet occupies the top four spots on the iTunes singles chart, with “Girls” at #1.

“Eyes” and “Safe” previously appeared on The Hunger Games soundtrack, while “Movie” initially resided on the deluxe Speak Now. A possible “Taylor’s Version” of that 2010 set has sparked considerable buzz of late.

Taylor currently has five titles on the HITS YTD Overall Activity Chart, led by Midnights (Republic) at #3.

Will these drops, which are undoubtedly roiling fans who’ve lined up for Taylor’s shows, make their mark on the streaming services? Stay tuned.
