Metallica roars to the top of the iTunes album chart this Flipover Friday and is the top new arrival at Apple Music as well.
Metallica’s much-anticipated 11th studio album, 72 Seasons (Blackened), opens at #1 in sales and cracks the Top 40 at Apple Music as well.
Meanwhile, Natalie Merchant’s first album of new songs in nearly a decade, Keep Your Courage (Big City Sister/Nonesuch) rises to #4. It's followed by Overkill’s 20th album, Scorched (Nuclear Blast), burning up the #7 slot. Joe Bonamassa’s Tales of Time (Live) (J&R Adventures) clocks in at #9, and Feist’s Multitudes (Interscope) steps in at #10.
iTunes songs has a new #1: Ice Spice f/Nicki Minaj’s “Princess Diana” (10K Projects/Capitol). Also new are Post Malone’s “Chemicals” (Mercury/Republic) at #4 and two Kelly Clarkson songs, “me” and “mine,” which round out the Top 10.
