A PREVIEW OF RADIO CHART PREVIEWS

At Top 40, it’s a tight battle this week to see whether SZA’s “Kill Bill” (TDE/RCA) will hold down the #1 spot or if Columbia’s Miley Cyrus will creep back in with “Flowers.” Meanwhile, Capitol’s Team Marella moves Toosii’s “Favorite Song” (SCMG) to the Top 25 this week as RCA’s Rothschild and crew place P!NK’s “TRUSTFALL” in the Top 30. Making its chart debut will be Republic’s Spangler and squad with Jonas Brothers’ “Waffle House.” Also debuting prior to official impact will be Virgin’s Halpern with NF’s “HAPPY” (NF Real Music) and Warner’s Chester & Reich with David Guetta x Anne Marie x Coi Leray’s “Baby Don’t Hurt Me” (Parlophone U.K.).

At Rhythm, meanwhile, Davey and Republic hold Drake & 21 Savage’s “Spin Bout U” at #1 for another week. Nino and Interscope slide Rema & Selena Gomez’s “Calm Down” up one spot to #6. Republic also welcomes Nicki Minaj’s “Red Ruby da Sleeze” to the Top 10, while Dixie and Capitol have Toosii’s “Favorite Song” gaining over 575 spins as it enters the Top 15 and Doechii’s “What It Is” moving up seven spots to the Top 20. B Dot and Warner will see another gain of 400+ spins on NLE Choppa x Lil Wayne’s “AIN’T GONNA ANSWER,” and Republic will have the highest debut of the week with Drake’s “Search & Rescue” (OVO). Also look for RCA’s Lori G and Inca to debut SZA’s “Snooze” (TDE).

And at Modern Rock, Warner’s Rob Goldklang gets a sixth week at #1 with Linkin Park’s “Lost.” Columbia’s Lisa Sonkin hits the Top 10 with Rosa Linn’s “Snap,” while Bad Omens’ “Just Pretend” (Virgin/Sumerian) enters the Top 20 and Thirty Tigers/Martha’s Mike DePippa has a nice debut with Smashing Pumpkins’ “Spellbinding.” Also making its chart debut is Dirty Hit’s The 1975 with “Oh Caroline.”
