THREE EXECS JOIN SOUNDEXCHANGE

SoundExchange has hired three executives: Kathleen Strouse, Doug Cohn and Amanda Carmichael.

Strouse, based in Washington, D.C., comes in as SVP of operations; Los Angeles-based Cohn is the new VP of Artist and Label Relations; and Carmichael, also based in L.A., will take on the role of VP of international. Strouse and Carmichael will report to CFO/COO Anjula Singh; Cohn will report to Stephanie Werner, SVP of Marketing and Industry relations.

Formerly SVP and head of Global Data Management and Strategy at Warner Music Group, Strouse will oversee SoundExchange’s royalty-processing, business-intelligence and customer-services teams.

Cohn will guide the day-to-day operations of the Industry & Artist Relations team and advance the company's relationships with the label/content-owner, artist and management communities. He was previously SVP of Music & Entertainment at Cumulus Media, where he led a new audio-content vertical, and SVP of Music & Talent at Nickelodeon, having started its first music department.

Carmichael (with the pink tips), formerly head of international at Phonographic Performance Ltd., will handle foreign neighboring-rights collections, operational processes and data exchanges with collective-management organizations.
