SONGS IN THE KEY OF SUMMER

Alicia Keys is packing up her piano and hitting the road. The Grammy-winning musician has announced that her Keys to the Summer Tour will kick off in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, on 6/28. Produced by Live Nation, the 23-date trek will include a stop at The Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, on 8/2.

The tour will employ an “in the round” production setup. Keys worked with director Diane Martel (who directed the videos for the artist's “If I Ain’t Got You” and “Like You’ll Never See Me Again”) and designer Chiara Stephenson on the concept and staging.

“The Keys to the Summer Tour is going to be completely unforgettable and unmissable,” Keys promised. “I describe it as a celebration of freedom and self-liberation. It’s going to be colorful, magical and will light up your body, soul and all of your senses. This is my first time creating a 360 experience and we’ve made sure it’s like nothing you’ve ever seen. I’m so excited to see y’all this summer.”

Tickets for the Keys to the Summer Tour go on sale to the general public on 4/21 at 9am local time. For more information, visit Live Nation’s website. For info on VIP packages, head here—packages range from the inclusion of premium tickets to a chance to join Keys in an intimate “Soulcare Session” before the show. We, on the other hand, have no chance.
