Metallica is enjoying its first U.K. Official Albums #1 in 15 years. Lewis Capaldi claims his fifth #1 single.

Waterparks claimed a career best with Intellectual Property (Parlophone), debuting at #10, and the premiere of rapper Avelino, God Save the Streets (More Music/OddChild), landed at #12.
On the U.K.’s Official Singles Chart, “Wish You the Best” (Vertigo/EMI) is the third single from Capaldi’s upcoming second album to hit the top of the chart and his fifth #1 overall. The track was boosted by the release of a special CD single, which accounted for 16.8k of its sales. Thanks to the singer's Netflix documentary, “Forget Me” and “Pointless” are also back on the chart, at #7 and #16, respectively.
Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding's "Miracles" (Columbia) dipped to #2 but was the most-streamed track in the country with 5.6m plays. “Daylight” (Miserable Music) by TikTok star David Kushner is new at #3. Post Malone’s “Chemical” (Mercury/Republic) scored a #11 debut.
