HALLWOOD MAKES BERKELEY-SCOTT A VP

Danny Berkeley-Scott has been named vice president, Management, at Hallwood Media, which prefers to be known as "a full-service artist, writer and producer management company." Interestingly, we prefer to be known as "a cool person you'd like to hang out with," but things haven't exactly worked out that way.

In addition to repping producers such as Young DZA (Cardi B) and Elias (Drake & 21 Savage), Berkeley-Scott launched Hallwood’s engineer-management division last year, signing recording engineers Angie Randisi and Mike Tucci. His client roster—Sounwave, David Stewart, Beach Noise and Brendan O’Brien, among others—has been responsible for over 20 gold and platinum songs.

“Danny embodies what I believe a true manager should be,” said Hallwood Media founder and CEO Neil Jacobson. “He has an almost daring entrepreneurial vision, embracing innovative ideas and partnerships. Danny has become a rising star and natural leader for our management division.”

A Toronto native, Berkeley-Scott has expanded Hallwood’s producer roster throughout Europe and is looking to grow its management department and develop brand partnerships. He oversees pacts with Headspace, BandLab and Native Instruments, among others.

We expect Danny (pictured) to throw that copy of Steve Miller’s Greatest Hits (also pictured) on the turntable after reading this story.
