There is much post-Tonys celebration at Interscope and Immersive Records in the wake of Parade's win for Best Revival of a Musical. John Janick, Steve Berman, Sam Riback and Adam Mersel (who manages star Ben Platt) served as co-producers of the show; Immersive and Interscope jointly released the soundtrack album.
Platt (whose stirring performance of the showstopper "This Is Not Over Yet" on the Tonys with co-star Micaela Diamond appears below) recently announced his partnership with Interscope for the next phase of his solo music career. In a possibly related story, rumors that the musical-comedy extravaganza BERM!—about a singing, dancing vice chairman—was being workshopped off-off-off-Broadway could not be confirmed at press time.
