RCA's Doja Cat will release the first taste of her next era on Friday (6/16); her highly anticipated return begins with "Attention."
The enigmatic star and internet troll has spent the last six months teasing the follow-up to 2021's Planet Her, which has earned a Grammy for "Kiss Me More," three pop #1s and total activity of more than 3m. She said the new album would be called Hellmouth, only to retract that statement.
Aside from a featured role on the remix of SZA's smash "Kill Bill," Doja has been relatively quiet for the last year, though she did earn a Grammy nod and pop #1 in 2022 for "Vegas," her ELVIS soundtrack contribution.
An "Attention" pre-save link was briefly online but has since been taken down.
