WCM PROMOTES TWO A&R EXECS
Warner Chappell Music President, North America Ryan Press has promoted two of his A&R execs: Wallace Joseph is now SVP, A&R and Jon Chen is VP.
“A&R is all about following your instincts and being deeply ingrained in the culture, areas in which both Wallace and Jon excel,” said Press. “They go above and beyond for our team and our songwriters, and they’re masters at connecting talent with other creators—not just here in the U.S. but all around the world.”
Joseph handles Summer Walker, Wale, Ari Lennox, JetsonMade, Tay Keith and TooDope! He also provides A&R services to producer-singer Elliott Trent and producer Yeti Beats and works with label LVRN. Prior to joining WCM, he ran a music management company, HMWRK.
Chen supports an array of talent including Benson Boone, Ian Kirkpatrick, BEAM, Sir Nolan and Baby Fisher.
