AN ASCAP RECAP

The 2023 ASCAP Experience took place at Avalon Hollywood Wednesday (6/21) with special guests Timbaland (via video), Hitmaka, Big Daddy Kane and Easy Mo Bee.

ASCAP President/Chairman Paul Williams delivered a few words before launching into sessions covering topics like how to build a career in the social media age and the impact of AI on how music is made. "The King Stays King: Keynote Interview" with Timbaland, moderated by Raydar CEO Ray Daniels, delved into the storied producer's trajectory over the past 25+ years. We were relegated to the back, where we were mistakenly identified as caterers.
