REIGN OF ERAS

Taylor Swift has extended The Eras Tour into 2024. According to an Instagram post from the Republic superstar, next year's North American run will kick off on 10/18 at Miami's Hard Rock Stadium and wrap up on 11/23 at Toronto's Rogers Centre. She's added 15 new shows (so far), including three each in Miami, New Orleans and Indianapolis. She'll be joined by opener Gracie Abrams.

"Turns out it’s NOT the end of an era," Swift teased in the caption. "Miami, New Orleans, Indy and Toronto: The Eras Tour is coming to you in 2024 with @gracieabrams."

The trek has smashed records during its 2023 onslaught, and the additional dates will likely secure its place atop the list of highest-grossing tours. Elton John's Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour holds the title at more than $939m. As Bloomberg reports, Swift rakes in around $13m per night, putting her on pace to gross more than $1b by tour's end.

The Eras Tour, which was launched in March, has proven exceptionally lucrative for her crew, too; so far, Swift has paid $55m in bonuses to her workers, including $100k bonuses to 50 of the tour's truck drivers. We, meanwhile, are very close to scrounging up enough for a full tank of gas. Just one more trip between the couch cushions should do it.
