AMAZON MUSIC RAISES PRICES

Amazon Music Unlimited is joining the crowd of music streaming services raising their monthly fees. The increases kick in on 9/18.

Prime members will be paying $9.99, a buck more per month, while non-members will be charged $10.99. A Prime family plan—up to six accounts—is also going up $1, to $16.99 a month.

The cost of an annual individual plan paid up front is rising $10 to $99 a year. The family plan gets a similar increase, to $169 a year.

Amazon is in line with Apple Music, YouTube Music and Spotify, which also recently raised plan prices by a dollar a month, to $10.99 for individuals.
