CAA "EVENING FOR EQUALITY" RAISES FUNDS TO SERVE LGBTQ+ YOUTH

Creative Artists Agency’s recent 6th Annual "Evening for Equality" raised over $25k to benefit the Oasis Center’s Just Us program, focused exclusively on LGBTQ+ youth. Pictured at the event are Live Nation's Ali Harnell (c) and family members.

Guests of the fundraiser, mounted in partnership with UMG and AB Hillsboro Village, included comedian and musician Danae Hays, musician JB Somers, Spotify Head of Editorial, Nashville Rachel Whitney and UMG SVP Digital Business and Creative Development Dawn Gates.

Said Just Us Director Joseph Clark, "Recognizing the unique challenges facing LGBTQ+ youth, Just Us at The Oasis Center serves as a beacon of hope and affirmation, offering a wide spectrum of positive youth-development programs and mental-health support designed to foster personal growth, well-being and a sense of belonging. Collaborations with the community play a crucial role in our efforts for LGBTQ+ young people in Middle Tennessee and their families. To date, Just Us is the only full-time staffed collection of development programs for LGBTQ+ youth in the state, and all our services are free of charge. Through this partnership with CAA and 'Evening for Equality,' we can continue to create a more inclusive community for all people.”

Since its inception, "Evening for Equality" events have raised more than $165,000.
