Mercury/Republic breakout Noah Kahan, in town for his sold-out show at Radio City Music Hall, visited the Republic offices—having been promised a deli tray and all the LaCroix he could drink—and was greeted with plaques for single “Stick Season” (platinum) and the album of the same name (gold). Naturally, a large group of label folk and other interested parties gathered for a celebratory photo, which was summarily emailed to this lame music-trade website. Seen hoping the Billboard people come up with a zingier caption than this are (l-r) Republic co-founder, President & COO Avery Lipman, managers Ryan Langlois and Drew Simmons, Mercury EVP/GM Ben Adelson, Kahan, Republic EVP and Mercury Head of Marketing Alex Coslov, Mercury President Tyler Arnold, Republic co-President Jim Roppo and Republic co-founder, Chairman & CEO Monte Lipman.
