A GUTS-Y SHOWING AT THE DSPs

Olivia Rodrigo is spilling her GUTS across the streaming charts, dominating the DSPs with her new 12-cut Geffen set (which is due for a #1 chart bow in the 285k+ range, according to our abacus).

How big is O-Rod at the streameries? On Spotify's daily USA chart, she currently holds 10 of the Top 11 positions, including #1 ("bad idea right?"), #3, #4 and #5. Only Doja Cat is preventing her from running the table.

On the global Top 50, meanwhile, she commands 10 spots in the Top 25, including four in the Top 10 (with initial salvo "vampire" leading).

And then there's Apple Music, traditionally a somewhat harder nut to crack for pop artists. But Olivia is teaching us to think different (or, for those of you who enjoy grammar, differently) with six of the Top 10 and 12 of the Top 25 tracks.

You may draw your own conclusions, but it sure seems as if a lot of folks are consuming GUTS as an album (and judging by the reviews, most critics deem this a rewarding pursuit).

How big will this one get? How long will O-Rod occupy the upper reaches of the DSP charts? Will she see billion-plus stream counts on her latest singles, as she has with breakout cuts "drivers license" and "good 4 u?" We shall see. For now, suffice to say this: She's back and she's big, baby.
