MAYER DOES A GOOD TURN AT THE WILTERN

John Mayer will perform a benefit show for the nonprofit Heart and Armor Foundation, dedicated to supporting veterans' health, at L.A.'s Wiltern Theatre on 9/19 before commencing the fall leg of his tour.

Fans accustomed to catching the Grammy-winning troubadour and erstwhile Dead & Company frontman at arenas and stadiums will surely welcome the chance to see him hoist his axe in an intimate setting, especially for a good cause.

Tickets go on sale 9/12 at 10am PT, but if you want to get a jump on things, bidding is already open for two pairs of tickets on Charity Auctions Today. Each pair comes with an autographed poster and early entry into the venue. The evening may also furnish a rare sighting of HITS staffers wearing pants. Please manage expectations; our bodies are not wonderlands—they’re more like Wonder Bread.
