VEEZE TEES OFF WITH WARNER RECORDS

Detroit rapper Veeze has partnered with Warner Records on a new label, Navy Wavy.

Warner Records CEO and co-Chairman Aaron Bay-Schuck and COO & co-Chairman Tom Corson announced the label alongside Veeze’s manager, Terrence “Snake” Hawkins, Warner advisors Gee Roberson and Jean Nelson and attorney Uwonda Carter Scott.

It seems Veeze decided to join Warner after golfing with Bay-Schuck and Corson.

"What Veeze and Snake have built independently is nothing short of spectacular,” Bay-Schuck said. “Veeze is joining the Warner family with commercial success, real fandom, and incredible momentum, and we look forward to now adding our own expertise to make Veeze one of the most important artists in music. The relationship between Gee Roberson and Jean Nelson of Blueprint, Snake and myself goes back over 20 years, so this is a real full-circle moment for us all. Tom Corson and I are over the moon that Veeze decided to join the Warner family. And I want to thank him for letting me take a mulligan on the seventh hole."

Veeze released his second full-length album Ganger in June, which featured the hit “GOMD.” He begins a 22-date U.S. solo tour in October.

In other golf news, Lenny Beer is still in the water hazard.
