Columbia’s Maren Morris is celebrating the release of her latest EP, The Bridge, with the first in a series of intimate shows.
For the first time in years, the multiplatinum Grammy-winning star will return to the first venue she ever played in Chicago, Joe’s on Weed St., on 10/5.
Tickets are available exclusively to members of Morris’ recently renamed fan club, The Lunatics, who may sign up for a special on-sale code from today (9/20) through 9/21. The moniker wears a bit of invective from right-wing commentator Tucker Carlson as a badge. Last year, Carlson slammed Morris as a "lunatic country music person" due to her outspoken progressive views.
Morris will donate $5 from every ticket sale to LGBTQ+ advocacy group GLAAD. Sign up to be a Lunatic (and for a chance to get tickets) here.
And if you'd like a "Lunatic Country Music Person" T-shirt, go here. Proceeds from that hot item go to support trans youth.
