CUMULUS' COOK HONORED BY ACM

Cumulus Media VP, Country Charlie Cook has been honored by the Academy of Country Music with the ACM Service Award. Cook was presented with the hardware by fellow ACM Award winner Chris Janson during the 16th Annual Academy of Country Music Honors on 8/23 at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium. The ceremony aired on FOX on 9/18 and is now available on demand via Hulu.

In addition to his role as VP, Country, Cook is also programming operations manager for Cumulus Nashville’s five-station cluster and PD for WSM-FM and WKDF-FM. He was previously chairman, president and radio committee chair of the ACM board—he's the longest-serving board member in ACM history. Cook was inducted into the Country Radio Hall of Fame in 2011.
