UTA has signed Oliver Anthony for worldwide representation in all areas, marking the viral star's first major deal. The signing comes after he told fans he'd turned down recording contracts worth $8m after his song "Rich Men North of Richmond" skyrocketed to #1.
“We’re honored to represent such an authentic artist," UTA co-Head of Nashville Jeffrey Hasson and Music Agent Curt Motley said in a joint statement. "We're excited to put together a global strategy to bring Oliver Anthony and his music to the people."
Anthony was in Nashville last weekend to perform during Tootsie's annual Birthday Bash. We were told the guest list was "full."
