Journey has announced a new round of 30 shows for its 50th Anniversary Freedom Tour, beginning 2/9 in Biloxi, Mississippi.
Produced by AEG Presents, the tour will conclude 4/29 in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Toto will open the shows. Presales begin Tuesday (9/26).
Journey, whose initial Freedom Tour run ran February through April of this year, features founder-guitarist Neal Schon, keyboardist Jonathan Cain, singer Arnel Pineda, keyboardist Jason Derlatka, drummer Deen Castronovo and bassist Todd Jensen.
The band currently does not have any shows booked in South Detroit (which, those of us from Detroit know, is the Detroit River).
