TALKING DIRTY

Dirty Hit's Jamie Oborne, one of the U.K.'s most impressive managers and label heads, has been camping out in the States recently, overseeing the launches of The 1975's second U.S. arena tour—touting its latest album, Being Funny in a Foreign Language. This leg includes two Madison Square Gardens, both of which sold out in minutes. In February the band returns to the U.K. to play four dates at the O2, two at OVO in Glasgow and a stop at AO in hometown Manchester.

Jamie's also been working new client Bleachers' first single, "Modern Girls," the band's first for Dirty Hit. He's signed Grammy winner Jack Antonoff for management as well. Stay tuned for further updates.

Kudos to Dirty Hit head of U.S. operations Greg Carr and his team for the incredible success they've had so far. This live pic finds The 1975 at L.A.'s storied Roxy (at a rapturously received, KROQ-sponsored show), which is perilously close to where several HITS staffers reside.
