The sixth reboot in The Exorcist franchise scared up $27.2m its opening weekend.

Universal and Blumhouse’s The Exorcist: Believer got off to a global start of $45.1m. The horror film was initially scheduled for Friday the 13th but was moved up a week after the Taylor Swift concert film was scheduled for 10/13.
