U2 DEDICATES "PRIDE" TO VICTIMS OF HAMAS ATTACKS

Performing at Sphere in Las Vegas Sunday night (10/8), U2 addressed the Israel-Gaza conflict that erupted over the weekend.

The band dedicated "Pride (In the Name of Love)" to those who've been killed in the fighting, including the 260 people gunned down at the Supernova music festival.

"In light of what’s happened in Israel and Gaza, a song about nonviolence seems somewhat ridiculous, even laughable, but our prayers have always been for peace and for nonviolence," said an emotional Bono. "But our hearts and our anger, you know where that’s pointed. So sing with us… and those beautiful kids at that music festival."
