Shazam users have been pointing their phones at speakers and learning that they’re listening to a new Drake song.
Drake runs the table this week on the Shazam USA Top 100 Biggest Movers list with five tracks from For All the Dogs (OVO/Republic), which is headed for #1 on the HITS Top 50. His collab with J. Cole, “First Person Shooter,” is the most-Shazammed Drake song of the week, followed closely by “Rich Baby Daddy” and “IDGAF.”
The U.K., meanwhile, is getting frothy for Madison Beer’s year-old “Showed Me (How I Fell in Love With You)” after she sang it on the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing. Peggy Lee’s version of Paul Simon’s “Bridge Over Troubled Water” is also getting thumbs a-wagging, thanks to its appearance on the ITV miniseries The Long Shadow.
