At Myke Towers’ sold-out YouTube Theater show on 10/13, the young star—widely touted as a Best New Artist contender—posed for a pre-performance photo with (l-r) HITS’ Michael Dominguez, S10 boss Brandon Silverstein and UTA Global Head of Music David Zedeck. Shortly after this photo was snapped, Michael reeled off a litany of sports metaphors and everyone else went to their happy places.
Anyhoo, Puerto Rican sensation Towers commanded the capacity crowd that evening, needing only a microphone and his catalog of high-energy urbano cuts to keep fans on their feet. Towers closed the show with the global smash "LALA" (from his Warner Music Latina album LA VIDA ES UNA); the cut has helped fuel his significant Grammy buzz.
Speaking of buzz, Brandon says that being away from us gives him a lovely no-contact high.
