Speaking of Green Day, the band played at Amazon Music Live in L.A., and Warner execs were lured into a photo op with HITS staffers. "Get me the hell out of this, Mike," Warner Records co-Chairman/COO Tom Corson discreetly texted to EVP Promotion and Commerce Mike Chester. "Who are these people?" Chester, as ever, replied, "New phone. Who dis?" Seen just before asking Alexa for another round of mojitos are (l-r) Warner's Ben Farber, Chester, Corson and HITS' Jesse MacMillan and Nicole Ghapgharan.

Guitar god Tom Morello visited Van Nuys High School in support of the music-education nonprofit Music Will, which is easily the best thing that's happened to the San Fernando Valley since HITS moved its offices to Hollywood.
