H.E.R. RECUTS FOO FIGHTERS’ "GLASS"

Omnipresent singer-songwriter H.E.R. has cut a new version of "The Glass," by RCA labelmates Foo Fighters, which will be released digitally 11/17 and on vinyl backed with the Dave Grohl-led band’s original take on 12/29.

H.E.R. recorded “The Glass” at the Foos’ own Studio 606 in Los Angeles and performed it live for the first time with the group on the 10/28 episode of Saturday Night Live. The track arrives on the heels of the Foos’ three Grammy nominations for 2023's But Here We Are, including Best Rock Album as well as Best Rock Song and Rock Performance for the single “Rescued.”

The band didn’t debut “The Glass” until two months into its 2023 world tour, but it was featured in an October Austin City Limits taping that will air on 11/18.

The Foos have a busy 2024 performance schedule on tap, beginning 1/20 in Auckland and encompassing stadium dates in the U.K., Europe and North America through mid-August.

As for H.E.R., she was most recently heard on the Diddy track “Space” and is said to be working on the follow-up to her hit 2021 debut album, Back of My Mind.
