ALBERT SCALES GIANT HEIGHTS AS LABEL'S NEW PREZ

Veteran A&R player Nate Albert is the latest top exec to join The Azoff Company's Giant Music, where he will serve as president.

Albert joins co-founder Shawn Holiday, Matt LaMotte and Charles Hamilton at Giant following a stint at Warner Records, where he developed and signed Best New Artist Grammy Nominee Omar Apollo and roots-soul breakout Teddy Swims, among others.

He previously served in senior-level A&R roles at Capitol and Republic, where he signed Maggie Rogers and The Weeknd, respectively, and has also worked with Dua Lipa, Roddy Ricch, Troye Sivan and Marshmello, among many others. Before entering the major-label world, he co-founded and played guitar in beloved Boston ska/rock combo The Mighty Mighty Bosstones.

"Nate invests his time, energy and love into everything he touches," reads a statement jointly issued by Irving and Jeffrey Azoff. "We can't believe how lucky we are to be bringing him into the Giant family. Please hurry up and send this release out before he changes his mind."

Founded in 2022, Giant has enjoyed quick success with such artists as Mike WiLL Made-It f/Lil Uzi Vert, Cash Cobain, FendiDa Rappa and That Chick Angel.

Rumors that Nate will be paired with a dude named Al and required to make corned-beef sandwiches could not be confirmed at press time.
