MORE TROPHIES FOR RONSON'S DREAM HOUSE?

Fresh off Best Original Song wins at the Critics Choice and Golden Globe awards for their Barbie hit "I'm Just Ken," could Mark Ronson and longtime collaborator Andrew Wyatt be headed for both Grammy and Oscar glory in the weeks to come? Nominations for the latter are coming on 1/23, with Grammy hardware being handed out on 2/4.

Ronson and Wyatt's Barbie music is on the Oscar ballot for Best Original Score, where it will vie against John Williams’ Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, Globe winner Ludwig Göransson (Oppenheimer) and Thomas Newman’s Elemental. Meanwhile, "I'm Just Ken" will battle fellow Barbie songs "Dance the Night" by Dua Lipa and "What Was I Made For?” by Billie Eilish, among others, for Best Original Song. This could be a happy Barbie situation where everybody wins, since the Brandon Creed-managed Ronson executive-produced Barbie the Album. Wyatt is managed by Evan Taubenfeld at Crush.

Seven-time Grammy winner Ronson is already nominated for five Barbie-related Grammys: Song of the Year for "Dance the Night"; Best Song Written for Visual Media for both "Dance the Night" and "I'm Just Ken"; Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media and Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media. Will the dream houses of Ronson and Wyatt soon be painted gold?
