TAG, THEY'RE IT! SHAZAM'S BIGGEST MOVERS

Two highly touted new singles, both by artists who bounce between Spanish and English, race up the Shazam USA Top 100.

That Mexican OT’s “02.02.99” (Manifest/GoodTalk/Good Money Global) is this week’s greatest gainer on the Shazam USA Top 100, just days after Spotify named the Texas rapper "one to watch" this year. Kali Uchis & Peso Pluma’s “Igual Que un Ángel” (Geffen), which landed on Spotify’s New Music Friday along with “02.02.99,” is getting thumbs a-wagging as well.

Folks curling up for a good crime-solving series in the U.S. and U.K. are aiming their phones at the screen for some catalog songs. Soul Coughing’s “Super Bon Bon,” released by Slash/Warner in 1996, finds a new audience after a sync on Reacher; “State of the Art (A.E.I.O.U.),” from Jim James’ 2013 debut solo album on ATO, benefits from a placement in the new season of True Detective.

Amber Run’s oft-synced “I Found” (RCA), from 2015, runs up the chart after a use in the film After Everything.
