In a sleepy weekend at the nation’s cinemas, Mean Girls added $11.7m in its second weekend to take its domestic box office tally to $50m.
The weekend’s lone new release, Bleecker Street’s I.S.S., brought in $3m from 2,520 theaters. Anyone but You, which pulled in $5.4m this weekend, has topped $100.2m worldwide, making it the highest grossing R-rated rom-com since 2016’s Bridget Jones’s Baby.
