Adele will play four shows in August at the 80,000-seat Munich Messe, which was purpose-built for performance, i.e., it's not a stadium. Promoted by Live Nation, the concerts will be her only summer dates in Europe.
The Tottenham thrush is gracing the open-air giant with her equally considerable presence 4/2-3 and 9-10. This will be the first time she's played the Continent since 2016.
Adele said on Instagram: “I couldn’t think of a more wonderful way to spend my summer and end this beautiful phase of my life and career than with shows closer to home.”
In fact, the Munich dates appear to mark the end of Adele's live schedule in support of her 2021 album, 30 (Columbia). It included two 2022 shows at London's BST Hyde Park and her Las Vegas residency, Weekends With Adele, which runs through mid-June.
Ticket registration for the Munich Messe dates is open now.
