UPDATE: GRAMMY VIEWERS FLOCK TO iTUNES, AMAZON

Chapman’s 1988 “Fast Car” and Joni Mitchell’s original version of “Both Sides Now” (1969) were in the iTunes songs Top 10 early Monday morning (2/5) and have now claimed the #1 and #6 spots, respectively. Miley Cyrus’ Record of the Year, “Flowers,” hit #1 and is presently perched right behind Chapman, while Billy Joel’s new single, “Turn the Lights Back On,” remains at #3. Luke Combs’ version of “Fast Car” was back in the Top 5 after his duet with Chapman on the show.

Other songs performed on the telecast that made the Top 10 include Billie Eilish’s Song of the Year, “What Was I Made For?”—now at #5—and Olivia Rodrigo’s “vampire.”

Chapman’s self-titled debut, meanwhile, topped the iTunes album chart and her Greatest Hits is currently #2. Mitchell saw chart spikes for Best Folk Album Joni Mitchell at Newport (Live), #6, followed by Hits, in the Top 10, and Clouds, in the Top 25.

Taylor Swift’s presence at the Grammys, not to mention her two on-air wins, sent her catalog back up the iTunes chart, led by AOTY Midnights at #3. Swift had eight albums in the Top 30.

Winner/performers Cyrus, Lainey Wilson, Joel, Killer Mike and Olivia Rodrigo also saw albums leap into the Top 40. The Bob Marley compilation Legend returned to the Top 10 after the Marley biopic was advertised during the awards and Ziggy Marley was interviewed during the ceremony; it’s now perched in the Top 20.

Cyrus’ Endless Summer Vacation, which rose into the iTunes Top 10, shot to #1 on Amazon’s vinyl and CD chart. The aforementioned albums by Chapman and Mitchell also moved into the Top 10, along with a bevy of Swift releases. Mitchell has since moved to #1, Cyrus holds at #2 and Chapman comes in at #6.
