AC/DC BRINGING THE "THUNDER" ON EURO TOUR

Despite the loss of several core members, AC/DC will return to the road this summer—and for the first time since 2015, they'll have Brian Johnson on lead vocals. The European Power Up Tour, named after the enduring hard rock outfit's 2020 album, will begin 5/17 in Gelsenkirchen, Germany.

The itinerary includes two July shows at London's 90,000-capacity Wembley Stadium as well an 8/17 finale at Dublin's 82,300-capacity Croke Park. Click here for ticket details.

Johnson and guitarists Angus and Stevie Young will be joined by former Jane's Addiction member Chris Chaney on bass and Mike Campbell and the Dirty Knobs' Matt Laug on drums, filling in for the longtime rhythm section of bassist Cliff Williams and drummer Phil Rudd.

Johnson left AC/DC in 2016 due to hearing issues and was replaced on tour that year by Guns N' Roses' Axl Rose. Johnson recovered sufficiently to contribute to Power Up and, in October 2023, take the stage with his bandmates as part of Goldenvoice's Power Trip festival in Indio, California.

No other AC/DC shows have been announced, and it's unknown if Williams and Rudd have left the band or are simply not participating in the European tour. The group is booked by CAA worldwide.
