NO VALUES FEST BRINGING PUNK LEGENDS TO POMONA

Goldenvoice is returning to its West Coast punk roots with the massive No Values festival, which will bring some of the genre's most enduring acts to the Fairplex in Pomona, California, on 6/8.

The inaugural lineup will likely be a dream come true for punk connoisseurs of all ages, as it features The Original Misfits, Social Distortion, Iggy Pop, Turnstile, Bad Religion, the reunited Sublime and The Dillinger Escape Plan at the top of the bill.

For those of a certain vintage, artists like The Damned, Black Flag, Fear, Fishbone, Suicidal Tendencies, T.S.O.L., The Adolescents, The Dead Milkmen, The Vandals and The Jesus Lizard will be warmly welcomed, and to top it all off, ex-Dead Kennedys singer Jello Biafra has been enlisted as No Values' DJ. One can only hope he will both open and close with "Holiday in Cambodia."

Founded by Gary Tovar, Goldenvoice got its start by organizing punk shows in southern California in the early 1980s and played a key role in developing many of the acts on the No Values bill. While battling drug trafficking charges which eventually led to him spending seven years in prison, Tovar sold the company to Paul Tollett and the late Rick Van Santen in 1991; the latter pair went on to launch Coachella in Indio, California in 1999 and sold Goldenvoice to AEG two years later.
