BTS' J-HOPE PREPS PRIME VIDEO DOC, ALBUM

BTS member J-Hope is less than a year into his mandatory 18-month military service in Korea, but that won't stop him from releasing a pair of projects next month.

Amazon's Prime Video has scooped up the six-part HYBE-produced docuseries Hope on the Street, the first episode of which arrives 3/28. BIGHIT MUSIC/Geffen will release an accompanying six-track "special album," Hope on the Street Vol. 1, the following day.

Prime Video says the series spotlights J-Hope's longtime love of dancing as he explores Osaka, Seoul, Paris, New York and Gwangju in tandem with his former instructor, Boogaloo Kin. The corresponding album is J-Hope's first since 2022's Jack in the Box. BTS itself has not performed live since October of that year.

See below for a teaser of Hope on the Street. We sure wish we could still dance like that, but, you know, arthritis ...
