Well, here we are at the midway point in the year; summer vacations are in full swing and, for whatever crazy reason, we’re starting to talk about end-of-the-year schedules… slow down! Didn't we just kick this year off?
Capitol's Marella, Nolletti, Acampora & Siciliano had Pop's #1 Most Added song this week, posting 39 adds on Doechii’s "What It Is (Block Boy)" (TDE). They also debuted Nicki Minaj & Ice Spice's "Barbie World" w/Aqua(Atlantic-Republic) on the chart with 78 stations on board as one of the week’s Greatest Gainers.
Alamo has pulled in gunslinger Dave Dyer and his team, and they put Lil Durk's "All My Life" f/J. Cole in the Top 10 Most Added column for the past seven weeks, which is every week since impact! Currently, with 144 stations on board, it is on track for the Top 20.
Virgin's Halpern & crew continue to build a great story on the streaming monster that is David Kushner's "Daylight." They pulled in another 20 adds this week, including majors WKSC, WWPW, WIHT and WXKS. WNCI is moving the track to Power rotation based on the callout, and the station’s PD, Mike McCoy, says, “Immediate positive reaction! Power worthy research.”
Republic's Spangler & Romeo have Taylor Swift's "Karma" in the #1 spot on the chart, with her other single "Cruel Summer" now in the Top 10. They also put Morgan Wallen's "Last Night" in the Top 5 as it continues climbing. Post Malone's "Mourning" (Mercury) is on 161 stations and it’s currently Top 20 and rising. The Weeknd's “Popular” f/Playboi Carti & Madonna (XO) is Top 25 bound, pulling in nine new adds including KBKS, KIIS, WIOQ and KHTS. Jonas Brothers' "Summer Baby" scored new airplay this week from KGTS, WBZZ, WPLW and WFBC, while Metro Boomin x NAV x A Boogie Wit da Hoodie’s “Calling” f/Swae Lee posted new airplay from Music Choice, HITS1 and WIOQ, along with 16 others, bringing the total number of stations spinning to 47; it debuted this week.
Interscope's Romano & Lopes enjoy having the #1 Spin Gainer, #1 Audience Gainer and the #1 track on SpotifyU.S. and Global with Olivia Rodrigo's "vampire," which is already in the Top 15. One Republic's "Runaway" is Top 30 at Pop and Top 15 at Hot AC. D4vd’s "Here With Me" is chartbound with 28 stations onboard; it has been in the Top 25 on Spotify U.S. for two months now.
Epic's Sackheim, Afloarei & Dimig put another nine stations on Bakar's "Hell N Back," including KBKS, WHQC and WKST. The track is currently in the Top 25, with 130 stations spinning to date.
Warner's Chester & Reich have it rolling as Dua Lipa's "Dance The Night" looks Top 5 bound with a closed-out panel and FIFTY FIFTY's "Cupid" is set to join the Top 10. David Guetta x Anne-Marie x Coi Leray's "Baby Don't Hurt Me" looks to enter the Top 15 this week with an almost closed-out panel.
RCA's Rothschild, Maldonado, JR & Daddio have SZA's "Snooze" (TDE) headed for the Top 10. It was also a Top 3 Greatest Gainer last week with major Power and Sub-Power rotations kicking in. Doja Cat's "Attention" (Kemosabe) debuts on the chart and is currently Top 10 at Spotify U.S.
Columbia's Gray, Burruss, Bedard, Stevens & Brenner got some GREAT news out of Boston this week as KISS 108 moves Miley Cyrus' "Jaded" to Power based on top scores with their core. With no negatives or burn, the track is now Top 15 bound. Dominic Fike's "Mona Lisa" was a Top 5 Most Added track this week and pulled in 24 adds, including KYLD, KDWB, WIHT and KBKS. Luke Combs has a multi-format hit with "Fast Car,” which is currently Top 20 at Pop and Top 10 at Hot AC. Harry Styles' "Satellite" has good early research popping up as it moves Top 25 this week, and ICandy's "Keep Dat" has debuted at Pop after approaching the Top 15 at Rhythm.
