A SONY STYLE HYPERBRAWL
10/7/20

Sony/ATV and Sony Music Masterworks have partnered to launch the upcoming soundtrack HyperBrawl Tournament (Music from The Video Game). The joint effort reflects the One Sony initiative of expanding collaboration between Sony’s vast network of businesses.

Created by British music producer Steve Levine, the soundtrack will be available on 10/16 and its lead single, “The Journey Begins,” will be released this Friday (10/9).

Levin has previously worked on albums and songs from the likes of Culture Club, The Beach Boys, Motörhead, Deniece Williams, Honeyz, Ziggy Marley and Westworld and more.

The 18-song soundtrack amplifies the HyperBrawl Tournament video game, which is an arcade-style sports experience created by Milky Tea Limited. The game will be released on PlayStation4 and other gaming consoles on 10/20.

“Steve’s music really sets the tone for the high-octane ground-breaking game, and I know it will be enjoyed both in the HyperBrawl arena, and as a standalone body of music,” shared Sarah Thwaites, U.K. Label Head, Sony Music Masterworks.

Levine added, “I’m delighted to be involved with Sony/ATV and Sony Masterworks on this project. I truly believe that the One Sony initiative presents new opportunities for both the publishing and the sound recordings on a global level.”
