Arista Records has appointed Zeke Silvera to VP of A&R. The NY-based exec will report to CEO/President David Massey.

Prior to joining Arista, Silvera spent six years at Island, rising from A&R assistant to VP and working with Demi Lovato, Nick Jonas, Mike Posner and Iggy Azalea, among other major acts. He left the label in 2018 to launch his own producer and management company, EZI Management.

"As we continue to grow our Arista team and A&R presence, Zeke brings a unique sensibility and strong ear for our developing artists. He is a highly talented executive with exceptional relationships with artists and the creative community," said Massey.

Silvera adds, "I’m looking forward to helping grow Arista’s diverse roster and to amplify the artists’ visions. I’m excited to be a part of the Arista family, and to avoid any further association with HITS."
