WHAT IT IS: Crafting a unique melting pot of rock, R&B, hip-hop and indie with a punk edge through honest lyricism, North Londoner Bakar has already appeared on some of the largest stages, including supporting Travis Scott during his sold-out London O2 show, Reading & Leeds and COLORs, with Coachella next. His 2022 album, Nobody’s Home, received acclaim and came alongside a limited-edition CD designed by the late Virgil Abloh. His latest single, “Good News,” debuted at the Givenchy 2023 spring/summer show, for which Bakar composed the soundtrack.
