Diana Ross has joined the bill for Glastonbury Festival 2022, where she’ll play the Legends slot on Sunday, 6/26, as part of her Thank You U.K. tour. She joins previously announced headliner Billie Eilish.
The news arrives as Ross looks set to hit Top 10 on the U.K.’s Official Albums Chart on Friday with her recently released 25th album, Thank You (Decca).
Glastonbury returns next year after two years of cancellations due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Festival organizer Emily Eavis said that Ross is the first artist to re-confirm for 2022.
She tweeted: “I’m thrilled to be able to let you know that the magnificent @DianaRoss is coming to play at @glastonbury next summer. We were so excited to book such a legend for Glastonbury 2020 and are so happy that she's the first to re-confirm for next year.”
