Arcade Fire will open London’s newly refurbished KOKO venue on 4/29 to celebrate the release of their sixth album, WE (Columbia). Central Cee is also on the bill for the opening weekend.
KOKO is reopening following a £70m restoration and redevelopment, which closed the Camden venue for three years. It has been transformed from a historic Victorian theatre into a 50k square foot state-of-the-art live music venue and broadcasting house.
Arcade Fire last played London in 2018. Ibiza deep house act Luciano will play a set on 4/30, while Central Cee will play two shows on 5/1.
Others set to play KOKO in the coming months include Chase & Status, Flume, Gabriels, Lianne La Havas, King Promise, Let’s Eat Grandma and more.
